What to look for in these photos

Photographs of finished walls all look similar, which is exactly why they are a weak way to judge a painting company. Two things in these images are worth more attention than the colour.

The preparation shots. Several photos show floors covered, furniture wrapped and sockets masked before any paint was opened. That stage is where a job is won or lost: it is unglamorous, it takes hours, and it is the first thing a crew under time pressure will skip. If a contractor has no photos of this stage, ask why.

The edges. Look at where a wall meets the ceiling, a door frame or a skirting board. A straight, crisp cut-in without a wobble is the single clearest signal of a professional finish, and it cannot be faked with a filter. The same goes for the transition around radiators and behind pipes, which is where rushed work shows first.

What these projects were

The set covers the three kinds of work we do most in Poznań:

Apartments between tenancies — empty flats repainted in one to three days, usually with airless spray because there is nothing to mask and the finish comes out even.
Occupied flats — room-by-room work with everything covered, so the client keeps the rest of the place usable throughout.
Stairwells and commercial interiors — larger surfaces, work at height, and scheduling around a building that has to keep functioning.

The ceiling shots are worth a separate mention. A large white ceiling under daylight shows roller texture clearly, which is why we spray them where the room allows it. That difference is visible in the photos above if you compare the sprayed ceilings with the roller-finished walls beside them.

Techniques you can see here

Two-coat roller painting at PLN 15–25/m² is the standard for occupied flats. Airless spray at PLN 12–20/m² appears in the photos where the room is empty and fully masked. Where walls were uneven before painting, a skim coat at PLN 35–50/m² came first — the flat, shadow-free surfaces in the finished shots are the result of that step, not of the paint.
